Tremail Methodist Hall
There
is currently no village hall facility at Davidstow as the hall,
pictured above, which was originally an air force building, is
now derilict.
The building is still standing but it's construction and condition
are such that it is not a viable proposition to restore it.
VILLAGE HALL TO BE SOLD
On
Monday January 14th 2008 at
a public meeting in Tremail Methodist Hall
i t
was agreed by public vote to
dispose of (sell) the property.
Every
effort was made to notify all members of the parish but even so
the meeting was not well attended. One or two ideas were put forward
with a view to establishing a new facility but this may depend
on a number of things yet to be discussed.
It
was agreed that all future meetings to make further decisions
would be open to the public so that anyone with any interest can
put there ideas forward.
