News
The AGM in August was well attended and thanks should go to Dairycrest for the use of their facilities and the fine refreshments served to all who came.
As a result of the meeting the committee has now grown to 20 and the word is spreading through the parish that the project is gathering momentum.
Some of you may have noticed that the pump house and water tank at the rear of the church hall have been reomoved and Dairycrest are in the process of levelling the area which will, it is hoped, provide additional car parking spaces for both the hall and the church.
Work on the building will not start until details of the lease are settled but this is well under way and progress will be reported here as soon as it is available.
The committee is keen to hear from anyone who may have an interest in using the hall on any level, either as an individual or as goup or organisation so we can plan accordingly for user's requirements.
Anyone wanting to contact the committee should do so through our new secretary, Jean Lyons whose details are shown below.
Alternatively, all our meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to attend at any time - details below.
