The Museum
The museum is housed in the former sergeants' shower
block which holds an extensive display of pictures, artifacts
and memorobillia relating to times on the airfield between 1942
and 1945.
For those who remember those times the comprehensive display will
surely evoke an atmosphere of rememberance and nostalgia. For
younger visitors, it will bring an insight into the duty, bravery,
comradeship and often suffering of those peolple who served here.
